About Us

The Prairie Football League (PFL) was established in 1998 to give area youth an opportunity to participate in and learn about the sport of football.  The program is held at Fairfield High School and although most particpants live in the Fairfield district, the program is opened to children from other school districts as well.  The PFL is funded through donations, sponsorships, fundraisers, and registration fees and is run entirely by volunteers who wish to see these young people have fun and succeed.

The objective of the PFL is to inspire youth regardless of; race, color, creed, or national origin and gender; to practice the ideals of health, sportsmanship and character; to promote the concept of commitment to team and teammates; and to learn the basics of the sport of football.
